WXYZ Program

WXYZ Program

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the program tonight? I thought all the schools were well represented. Kids were definitely excited to see themselves on TV. The webcast through channel 7 with the superintendents was interesting as well. Anyone else have any thoughts???

I thought the program was excellent. I wish I could hear the webcast but we are at a gathering for Fraser Schools at the Vintage House and you know we have spirit!!

While I couldn't make the viewing party because of the web program, my wife was there and said that the Fraser Pride was clearly evident. What a great thing for over 200 community members to gather at a local banquet hall that sponsored this event to celebrate just 7 minutes of air time on their schools. Such a celebration only occurred in Fraser. It shows how Fraser is unique in its small town pride, but still is able to deliver a big town, world class education.

Doug Hagerty says that 1/3 of Fraser homes are second or third generation. The list of multi-generation families that have educated their children at Fraser Public Schools is impressive, as is the list of employees who send their own kids, their most prized possessions, to Fraser Schools. - Rick Repicky

Fraser is a great city to live in and go to school - I USED to live there and loved it!
NOW I live in the Oxford area - and I have to say that the schools are every bit as
wonderful!! And Fraser was NOT the only ones to host a viewing party, Oxford also
had it's own viewing party at the high school auditorium - it was FANTASTIC!!
Glad to see TWO such great towns with such high standards and pride in their
schools!! GO Fraser and GO Oxford!!
